Open Your Heart to the Hungry and Homeless

Project Homeless Connect is a “one-stop shop” that connects thousands of people experiencing homelessness to a range of service providers all in one place.

It was 17 degrees outside the day Talia and her family arrived at the shelter, and they had no winter clothes. Open Your Heart’s Education Fund helped the kids get new winter clothing, backpacks and school supplies to make their transition to a new school easier.

Greg spent two years homeless, often sleeping at the base of a rock wall in the woods. Now with a place of his own and a job, he says he can walk with pride.

Cynthia visits a food shelf once in awhile when her work hours aren’t consistent enough to pay the bills. But she’s also found a way to give back by using her extra time to volunteer.
