Are you looking for ways to use your time and your skills to make an impact on hunger and homelessness? Join Open Your Heart to the Hungry and Homeless and dozens of other Twin Cities nonprofits for the seventh annual HandsOn Twin Cities Volunteer Expo!
The HandsOn Twin Cities Volunteer Expo is the premier volunteer event that showcases community involvement opportunities with more than 75 local nonprofit organizations. More than 12,000 people come each year to enjoy:
- Learning about ways to volunteer in the Twin Cities
- Participating in “speed volunteering” activities
- Watching the Be the Change awards, recognizing outstanding volunteers
- Prizes and drawings
- And more!
Open Your Heart will again have a table at the expo where you can learn about our newest volunteer opportunities in areas like communications, special events and public speaking. Many of the agencies we fund will also be at the expo with opportunities for the whole family to serve people facing hunger and homelessness.
This is a unique occasion to find out how we can all get involved in bettering our communities. We hope to see you there!
