Keystone Community Services, St. Paul, $10,000 to purchase two freezers for the Rice Street and University Avenue locations. This will allow for more nutritiously balanced foods to be available for individuals in need
Face to Face Health and Counseling Service, St. Paul, $3,000 to help fund the Youth Connect event. This event will provide basic need supplies, bus cards, and dental care to homeless and at-risk youth
Sharing and Caring Hands, Inc., Minneapolis, $7,500 to replace Bunk Beds for Mary’s Place, their homeless shelter for families with children
YouthWay Ministries Blaine, $5,720 to purchase a commercial refrigerator and freezer. This will allow for fresh foods to be kept for longer periods of time
Volunteers of America of Minnesota, Minneapolis, $10,000 to replace a 15 year old transport vehicle with serious reliability issues. With a safe dependable vehicle, residents will have improved access to medical, financial, social, and other resources to achieve self sustainability
Faith United Methodist Church/ Harbor House Crisis Shelters, Superior, $4,625 to purchase computers and printers for resident use, two intercom doorbell systems for clients to use at both shelter sites, new mattresses, light fixtures and a stove
The Salvation Army, Mankato, $10,000 to replace old beds, mattresses, bedding supplies and to buy a chest freezer. This will provide their clients with a better night’s sleep and nutrition which will improve their chance of obtaining employment and stabilizing their lives
Fargo Moorhead Dorothy Day House of Hospitality, Inc, Fargo Moorhead, $2,500 to the purchase of clothing racks and storage shelves for donations at both the emergency shelter and food pantry sites, ceiling tiles for the emergency shelter, and a pallet jack with a scale for the food pantry
Resource, Minneapolis, $10,000 to update property and family resident sites to city code regulations
Mobile Action Ministries, Stillwater, $9,874 to purchase commercial mobile kitchen equipment and electrical system to increase cooking capacity, expanded geographic reach, and provide better nutritionally balanced meals
Waseca Area Neighborhood Service Center, Waseca, $10,000 to add much needed freezer space by purchasing a new walk-in freezer that will better meet the needs of the Waseca Area Neighborhood Service Center, as well as being more economical to run and maintain
Our Saviour’s Community Services/ Our Saviour’s Housing, Minneapolis, $10,000 to repair and rebuild two bathrooms/showers and an adjacent dry wall that have extensive damage due to a water leak
Emma Norton Services, St. Paul, $9,775 to purchase new beds and provide a safe and healthy environment for women seeking shelter
Hastings Family Service, Hastings, $10,000 to purchase a new four-door glass-front commercial freezer for the recently expanded food shelf, allowing for more healthy food choices for families
A Place for You, Pine City, $10,000 to upgrade ADA compliant bathrooms/shower facilities and install sprinkler and security systems
